Thanksgiving - Day 4

Friday was an amazing day.  Forecasters had predicted rain.  Of course, they were wrong.  It was hot with not a single cloud in the sky.  So much so that we had to get the little Minnesota girls sun shirts with SPF!

We went to a fantastic water park that also offered swimming with dolphins.  The dolphin experience will be covered separately.  In summary, it was a definite highlight.  The waterpark was also amazing.  It was all inclusive (inclulding alcohol, which meant delicious Blue Hawaiians for me).  The girls loved the serve-yourself aspect to the food court.  The waterpark was shockingly uncrowded so there were no lines on any of the slides, the wave pool was wide open, and the lazy river was easy.  You had to rent tubes for the lazy river and we were not sure we wanted to do that.  We walked down to see if it was worth it and a family was getting off the river who did not care to keep their tubes.  Yay for us!  If you didn't have a tube, you were allowed to swim the lazy river.  Brynn, of course, wanted to swim the lazy river!

Overall, with respect to rides, Bria's favorite was the lazy river and Brynn's favorite was an enormous water slide with a tube that held 3 riders.

Yeah, I don't know either.

The kiddie park was very fun with lots of slides and cascading water.

The girls independently got all of this food.  Two slices of pizza, a cheeseburger, chicken strips, fries.  I can't imagine what the ladies at the counter thought.

Bumper boats?? No way!

Brynn and Gramma dominated the bumper boats.

This slide was Brynn's favorite.  She did it many times with many combinations of adults.  Bria was not tall enough for the slide.  Happily, she also didn't have any interest in it.

Bria's favorite:  the lazy river.
