Easter Weekend - Saturday Evening!

Saturday evening we had fun dyeing Easter eggs.  We tried a variety of new egg dyeing techniques.  We had rollers and stampers.  We also tried coloring super hot, just out of the water, eggs with crayons.  Those turned out REALLY cool.

Easter Weekend - Saturday Morning!

Saturday morning, our clubhouse hosted an Easter egg hunt, petting zoo, and craft time.  The girls wore their special Easter egg hunting outfits and looked adorable.  They loved the petting zoo.  Bria was very brave with the bunnies and ended up with quite a few scratches on her face.

Easter Weekend - Friday!

We had a very busy and great Easter weekend!  On Friday we met up with our friends - Alysia and her children Justin, Caden, and Alexis.  We went to a state park that was sponsoring a fun Easter activity day.  We had a great time.  Easter bunny face painting, natural egg dyeing, caterpillar grass seed planting, Easter bunny visit, and an Easter egg hunt!

Farm Babies at the Zoo - April 10, 2011

We love going to the Minnesota Zoo to see the Farm Babies every year.  We went on April 10 with Gramma and Papa.  It was a surprisingly nice day and we had a great time.  The girls especially loved feeding the goats.

Digging for worms!

One of our (and, by "our," I mean Brynn and Bria's) favorite past times at Gramma and Papa's is to dig for worms.  Brynn tells an adult which stone to move, Brynn and Bria find the worms, and Bria picks the worm up.

Taking Pictures at Stone Arch Bridge

We had Easter pictures taken by Flash on April 9 at the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis.  After the professional photo shoot, I took some pictures of the girls.  They turned out so cute!

Madagascar Live!

Gramma, Mom, and the girls went to Madagascar Live on April 2.  We had a lot of fun watching the show.  The girls particularly liked the hippo shaking her butt!  They giggled and giggled at that!

Como Zoo and the Toads!

Papa read about a toad exhibit at Como Zoo.  We went to the exhibit on March 27.  We learned about the differences between toads and frogs and saw a LOT of different colored frogs.  We had no idea so much was open at Como in the winter (yes, March 27 still felt a little like winter!).  We had a great day and the girls loved getting their passports stamped at each exhibit.
