Duluth weekend - Splitrock Lighthouse

On Sunday we drove north to SplitRock lighthouse.  It was amazing weather - especially for northern Minnesota.  We went on the lighthouse tour, walked all the way down to the water's edge, and hiked back up.  At the lake, Brynn asked if she could take some of the rocks home.  Which meant Gramma and Mom hiked back up with purses full of rocks!  On the drive home, we made a stop at Betty's Pies.

Duluth weekend - Edgewater Resort

On June 4, we headed up to Duluth.  Saturday day and night we spent at Edgewater Resort.  It was a fun waterpark with super warm water.  We loved that the hotel really does act like a resort - with kids' activities, hair wrapping, movie night, s'mores, miniature golf, and the whole deal!   Bria especially loved the wobbly island walk.  She did it until her hands started chafing!

Annie - June 3

We went to watch Annie at the Children's Theater after playing at the pool.  I was amazed at just how different the plot for Annie the movie and the plot for Annie the play were.  Brynn commented that it was not the same as the movie at all.  That being said, the girls enjoyed the show a lot.

First Pool Day - June 3!

We have a pool in my community and it opened over Memorial Day weekend.  We went to the pool on June 3 to celebrate it's opening.  Brynn is a little fish in the water.  It is really amazing.  Bria is also very good for 4 years old!

Lego KidsFest!

On May 22, we went to Lego KidsFest.  We had a great time.  Gramma and I became a little obsessed about building a tower for the LegoNation.  We put "B" on two sides of the tower.  The girls enjoyed playing with legos, going on a Vikings jumper, and having their faces painted.

Cute pictures of the girls

We spend a lot of time at Gramma and Papa's house.  These are pictures from wildflower walks, posing with flowers, playing in the rain, watching a snapping turtle, sewing with Gramma...
